This building was originally designed and built with foundations that can support a 57 story office tower, although the owner/occupant's initial requirements at the time called for only 33 floors of office and commercial space. Growth of the company and consolidation of personnel from outlying suburban offices now require completion of the 57 story office tower. This means construction of 24 additional floors of shell and core above an office building occupied daily by about 4,500 people.
